Founder & CEO, Titan Classes
How a middle-class constraint became a nationwide opportunity
Born in 2004 to a middle-class family. My parents provided everything essential—education, food, shelter. But "pocket money" was a luxury we couldn't afford. While classmates enjoyed weekend outings and new gadgets, I learned the value of every rupee.
At 19, I started teaching home tuitions myself. Working 2-3 hours daily, I earned my first independent income. But more importantly, I discovered two critical insights:
Supply Side: Thousands of educated youth wanted to teach but had no access to students.
Demand Side: Parents wanted affordable, personal tutoring but couldn't find verified teachers.
Traditional tuition bureaus charge 50% of the first month's fee—a massive upfront cost that benefits neither teachers nor parents long-term. I saw a better way.
What makes Titan Classes different isn't just pricing—it's how we handle trust and accountability:
Fee held securely, ensuring quality service
Month-long classes with full commitment
Monthly payment guaranteed at month-end
By holding fees for the full month before paying teachers, Titan earns interest on the float (funds temporarily held). Combined with our ₹1,000 monthly commission, we've created sustainable, recurring revenue while ensuring:
From teaching one student to managing 400+ teachers. From a side hustle to a scalable EdTech platform.
Titan Classes started from personal necessity. Today, it's solving a national problem: connecting educated youth with earning opportunities while making quality education affordable.
Our AI platform will automate matching, scheduling, and payments—scaling this model to reach millions of students and teachers across India.
What started as a personal limitation—no pocket money—became the foundation of a business that empowers thousands. The best businesses don't just solve problems; they transform struggles into systems that create value for everyone involved.
